Challenges

Too many features too soon – Adding excessive features early on instead of focusing on an MVP.

Complex processes and features – Difficult for both users and businesses to navigate.

Ignoring user needs– Prioritizing investor demands over real user insights.

Outdated business models – Adopting old models that don’t support growth and scalability in the app.
Results

Designed a user journey – Based on core user needs and business model after conducting user research and competitor analysis.

Building an MVP – Developing a minimal viable product and creating a roadmap based on feature priorities.

Simplifying processes – Reducing complexity across all flows and key actions.

Enabling limited access – Allowing users to explore some features without registration/login to boost engagement.

Using a modern design language – Aligning with branding goals while minimizing development costs.

Social media is an integral part of our lives, with 50.64% of the population using various platforms. Each social media network serves a different purpose and has distinct usability. Linfaci will initially focus on talent discovery and showcasing in various fields and skills. In the future, it aims to highlight its unique features.

Everyone has a talent they want to discover, develop, and showcase. Current social media platforms are not designed for comprehensive talent search and development; they often focus on trending topics and short-term content.
Linfaci is a product developed with insights from psychologists, economists, and IT engineers to support and promote talented individuals. It allows users to share their talents—either individually or through contests—receive feedback, and earn rewards.
We are launching Linfaci with this core feature and will introduce additional unique features in the future.

The platform originally aimed to offer a wide range of features, including videos, podcasts, music, and more. However, due to time and resource constraints, it wasn't feasible to launch all at once. We decided to focus on creating a streamlined MVP based on user research and market insights to prioritize the most valuable features for users.
Some of my research is protected by Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), so I can only use research and documents that are not covered by these agreements.
After we developed the MVP, I created a storyboard to explain the product’s functionality and purpose to everyone.

As mentioned earlier, we used the Lean UX method for Linfaci due to limited resources.
Lean UX is a methodology that facilitates quick decision-making and focuses on designing a product with only the essential steps. It is particularly useful when time and resources are constrained or when developing a minimum viable product (MVP).
Here are the flows used by popular social media platforms. By analyzing these, we can gain insights into users' mental models.

Here are some wireframes By following the Lean UX methodology, we applied this approach at every level of product development.
In designing the user interface, especially the components, we focused only on the necessary elements and developed them as needed. This meant defining only essential components such as buttons, inputs, typography, and the color palette. on the latest research and ideation.
